Similar to Google’s Adwords programme, you can use Facebook to advertise your business by displaying paid for ads. Many companies are starting to realise the benefit of having a social media page to promote their business on sites such as Facebook and Twitter, but there is so much more to social media marketing than you may think.
Facebook have a paid for advertising system that you can use to get your page and individual posts seen by more people. You can selected a daily budget or total spend and then tell Facebook which people you want to target i.e based on location , interests, age etc. You ad will then be shown in their feed as a sponsored listing. This type of advertising doesn’t necessarily work for every type of business and a lot of the responses that you get from it will depend on the content within your ad.
